HOW TO GET TO GRANADA
Getting to Granada is not difficult. Major International companies fly to Managua International Airport ( 50 km from Granada ) from Europe and US.
Some regional airlines fly from neighbouring countries like Costa Rica, Honduras and Salvador. And by road there are options like Tica Bus or TransNica, running different buses
each day from those countries.
By Plane to Managua
The closest International Airport to Granada is Managua International Airport, about 45 minutes by taxi from Granada.
Major American Airlines fly directly from US airports ( NY, Atlanta, Miami ) to Managua. European airlines use Miami and other US airports as scale from Europe. Some low-cost airlines like Spirit Airlines and Copa Airlines also operate fligths to Managua. Another option is flying to San José Costa Rica and then going to Managua by plane, bus or car.

By car you just have to follow the same rote of Tica Bus, crossing the frontier at Peñas Blancas. Granada is just one hour and a half, by panamericana highway. |
