CATARINA AND THE WHITE VILLAGES

The white villages take their names after their colonial style white facades where you will find all type of crafts, flowers and ornamental plants. We recommended a visit to the Mirador of Catarina, by far the best panoramic views  of the beautiful Apoyo Lagoon.

OMETEPE ISLAND:

Inside Cocibolca Lake you can find Ometepe Island, the biggest island inside a lake of the world. The island is formed by two high active volcanos of more than 1600 metres named Madera and Concepción. There’s ferry service to the island from the cities of Granada and Rivas. Inside the islands you can find several towns, being the biggest ones Moyogalpa and Altagracia
